Streeterville

Located just east of the Magnificent Mile, Streeterville is one of Chicago’s most expensive high-rise neighborhoods. It is also named after wannabe gunrunner and squatter George “Cap” Streeter, who docked his ship at the mouth of the Chicago River in the 1880s. Streeterville is bordered by Oak st to the north, Michigan Ave to the west, south to the river and east to the lake. It has great views of Lake Michigan and is home to Navy Pier and North Western Hospital and Lurie Childrens Hospital.
